Lewes Festival of Song is one of only a handful of music festivals in Great Britain devoted entirely to song.  At its heart is the desire to create richly varied and often unusual programmes featuring both internationally known performers and the up and coming generation of excellent young singers.

 

Our concerts celebrate the heritage of past centuries; Lieder, French mélodies, and songs from many other countries, contemporary compositions and new commissions. We make a point of including local performers and composers from Lewes and East Sussex where artistic talent abounds.

 

We rely on ticket sales, donations and funding sources to put on the festival each year. Your support would enable us to build on our successes and increase the scope and reach of what we can do.
